NYC’s Best Downtown Bachelor Party Suites

View Map

The Big Apple offers almost endless possibilities for bachelor party madness. But, like living in the city itself, you’ll have to make some compromises. NYC apartments have a reputation for being claustrophobic boxes, and hotel rooms aren’t any different. Many hotels, from large chains to boutiques, jam in as many rooms as they can to maximize profit.  Thankfully, there are many hotel suites where you can actually walk more than two steps from your bed to the bathroom.

In fact, these fantasy suites are so massive, so baller, you’ll feel like you have the entire floor of the building. With unbelievable amenities, killer views, and a tank of swank, these are the best hotel suites to book when planning your NYC bachelor party.

It’s the essential crashpad with contemporary interiors and comfy amenities–but it’s mostly known for its massive outdoor terrace, complete with patio furniture, stringed lights and total privacy.

  • Greenwich Hotel

Tribeca Penthouse The Greenwich Hotel, Greenwich Street, New York, NY, United States
    View Map

When Robert DeNiro opens a hotel, you know it’s going to be fit for the A-list. He didn’t leave one corner unimagined at Greenwich Hotel, and the busy Tribeca hotel has some of the most luxe furnishings ever (Tibetan silk rugs, Italian marble, etc). None of the 88 rooms are alike (they are all individually designed), and there are three (three, dude) penthouses. But let’s not even go there yet. Let’s start with the $1,500-a-night Studio Suite, the “smallest” suite (650 square feet), which has a freaking dry sauna inside, so imagine how the other five suites will just get better from here. Anyway, back to the penthouses. The 2,000-square-foot, two-bedroom Greenwich Penthouse is a duplex with 30-foot windows, sitting room, hand-carved marble soaking tubs and plenty of room to stretch out (about $6,000 a night) but if you really want to throw down, book the Tribeca Penthouse, a gargantuan, two-level space that crowns the building. Not only is this three bedroom a good 2,800 square feet of woah, there’s a 4,000-square foot outdoor terrace (with jacuzzi and gardens) that will set you back $15,000 a night.

  • Four Seasons New York Downtown

Tribeca or Gotham Suite Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown, Barclay Street, New York, NY, United States
    View Map

After opening last year, Four Seasons Downtown (not to be confused with the classy property in midtown) brought a whole new level of luxury to Lower Manhattan. There’s a heated indoor lap pool, a state of the art spa, Wolfgang Puck’s Cut and several amazing suites to choose from. While the residential-style, 1,220-square-foot Tribeca Suite is the daddy of hotel suites (insane views of downtown, outdoor patio, dining table for six), the Gotham Suites (725 square feet) have private terraces and massive living rooms on the 23rd floor. It’s more about the prestige of staying at a Four Seasons, but you can still properly throw down. The hotel is conveniently located a short stroll to the One World Trade Center and other hip spots that are popping up in the hood.

  • Soho Grand

Loft South Soho Grand Hotel, West Broadway, New York, NY, United States
    View Map

One of the New Yorkiest hotels in New York, Soho Grand has been a downtown fixture for decades, known for its party vibes (the site of endless private events from fashion designers over fashion week, filmmakers during film festivals and artists when art fairs are in town. There are two loft penthouses to choose from, but go with Loft South, which is more masculine and the better of the two. It spans a good 2,500 square feet (half of which is a sprawling, landscaped outdoor terrace). The two-bedroom suite with separate living room feels hella industrial (concrete ceilings, hardwood, exposed concrete, tons of leather, floor-to-ceiling windows), but somehow also feels like home. It’s totally set up for entertaining, including a full service wet bar, and you can basically leave all your stuff back home–everything you’ll need is here (they even provide an iPod, iPad and MacBook laptop). There’s a freestanding bathtub in the bedroom, so do what you need with that.
