My fiance and I are going to the Moon Palace Resort, Spa & Casion in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I've been reading trip advisor like a mad woman (yes, I'm a bride - but hey, this site is kick ass) but would like more information from people who have been to the resort and also like to follow "the plunge" ... I'll be sure to come back and comment on the Honeymoon as well!

My fiancee and I were looking at a Disney Destination Wedding. The only thing we ran into was the pricing of it just recently got jacked up by nearly 50% and we can not afford it now :(

They're jacking up the prices by 50% in a recession!? Real brainiacs in their Marketing department.

yeah jeff that's what we said. we had planned everything and started saving up money for it and all. we got nearly enough for the full payment and BAM the prices were way higher than what we were told so we changed that really quick

Looking for suggestions!! Ideally we'd love a Bungalow like Fiji, but aren't forking over 10K a night. Love the climate of the carribean but don't want to be overburden with tourists.. Anyone have an idea?!?!
