Ushers probably don't need anything really huge; most of the weddings I've been to or in, the ushers were the tweenage boys of the families, so something a 12-year-old might like (ask the parents, but perhaps tickets to a ballgame or movie? An afternoon at the skate park on the groom's dime? A Dave-and-Buster's trip on the groom? I dunno, depends on the usher and the area.). For singers/etc, something a bit more valuable, but still it depends on the person. Are they a wine afficionado? Then a good bottle would be nice. Music fan? Find a concert recording of their favorite artist. Golfer? A round at the local CC.
Gifting should be a little fun -- try to personalize it to the people you'll be giving it to. If you don't know what would be personal... ask around a bit. Your family and friends might have a good idea as to what people would like, if you're drawing a blank. |
