I'm taking my bachler party to the northern parts of MN. Well actually to northern WI. We're taking a guys trip down the Brule river. There is a canoe rental place there that does kayaks & canoes. They pick you up that camp site. Bring to up river and then you paddle back. It's a pretty sweet gig. You have a cooler full of beer, cans only because glass is not allowed. But it's mostly safe (no drunk driving) and you get to be manly.

That sounds pretty damn perfect. Last year I went to a bachelor party in Colorado that did something similar -- rafting and they provided coolers of beer.  Manly as you say, and at the end of the day you feel like you EARNED that beer; it's not just you starting to drink at 9pm on a Saturday.

Just had my bachelor's party a couple weeks ago in Minneapolis. It was a FANTASTIC day! Started with indoor paintball (and jaeger-bombs), after lunch we went to a place where you brew your own beer, had dinner at a comedy club and went to the show after, ended at a strip club.

The paintball was cool because there were some guys there I didn't know that well and it was a bonding experience (especially when the game came around that was everybody versus the groom-to-be). The beer making was awesome because they had all the ingredients and everything all set up so it just took about an hour to brew it (we went back 2 weekends later and bottled the beer which tasted great). The comedy club was a great idea too because dinner was great and the headliner of the show was fantastic (and a few drinks made the opening acts tolerable as well).

All this was done in Minneapolis.

If anyone is looking for a great camping place, I would highly recommend Voyageurs National Park along the MN/Canada Border.  I'm not having my bachelor party there, partially in part because a group of friends and I go camping there every summer.  If you like to camp it makes you feel pretty manly; there isn't a single camping spot accessable by car.  You have to boat to every one of them.  The campsites themselves are really nice, and plenty of firewood around.  If you want to rough it for your bachelor party, this is a great place to go.
