File under: shameless self-congratulations.
Are we a force for good or evil? Time will tell.
We were happy to see, however, some concrete proof that grooms can actually benefit from reading the site. (Who knew?)
On her wedding site Keetoyourheart.com, bride Kari describes a recent conversation with her groom.
From her (admittedly charming) site:
I had been reading this article from Cosmopolitan online that came up on my Yahoo homescreen. It's called Confessions of a Wedding Planner: 5 Signs a Marriage will Fail. One of the points the article spoke about was when the bride hides going over budget from the groom.Ahhhhw. Kari's groom, feel free to invoice us for $400, the check's in the mail.
Here's a conversation that played out between Andrew and myself just a few hours ago.
Me: Hun, I have a confession. I went WAY over budget on flowers when I finalized florals a week ago.
Him: How over budget?
Me: Like 400 dollars over budget.
Him: I think flowers was one of the catergories that website The Plunge told me to let slide. Let me check... (pulls out his laptop) Yep! It says for me to not get upset about how much the flowers cost.

Uhh... really? And with that, I think all brides should have their grooms read The Plunge!
