Here are our favorites (all with full bars and accommodations for private parties) from New York City and San Francisco.

New York

1. Keens Steakhouse

This Victorian-era meat-lover’s destination is perfect for the carnivorous history buff. The Lillie Langtry Room seats 25 people, so it’s perfect for a larger bachelor party dinner.  The Lincoln Room, which seats 60, is an excellent choice for a rehearsal dinner.

5. Ricardo Steak House

If you’re looking for a place with a fun, upbeat atmosphere, head to Ricardo.  Unique elements of this NY steakhouse are a year-round outdoor patio, a fresh raw bar, and live DJs.  This place is pretty well known for strong drinks in addition to great food, so it’s definitely an ideal bachelor party contender.  You will need to venture into East Harlem, but it’s worth the trip.

San Francisco

1. Alexander’s Steakhouse

This SoMa steakhouse is truly unique culinary experience, fusing classical steakhouse dishes with creative Japanese cuisine.  Each dish is presented so artistically that you may even be tempted to snap some food porn (don’t worry, we won’t judge).  A few of the most raved about dishes? Wagyu beef, tomahawk chop, seared foie gras, truffle fries, and even cotton candy.  And of course, you have to order Hamachi shots.  Yes, the prices are up there, but you’ll be happy you splurged.
